@zerimaR - The chapters keep alternating between past events and current events. From what it seems right now:

1. Aiko, Honoka, and long hair boy used to be friends of Elena and Shuichi a few years ago.
2. Aiko kills herself, Honoka uses the first coin to replace her
3. Long hair boy kills Honoka (who is impersonating Aiko), he says that he was angry that no one cared about Honoka disappearing
4. (Speculation) Long hair boy collects 100 coins and creates a curse that kills people if they don't know Honoka's name
5. Last page of this chapter, Elena appears to be comforting a random school girl that is about to be killed for not knowing Honoka's name.

@WM46 thanks, that was confusing as fuck what was happening at the end there. Especially since the schoolgirls look old for manga schoolgirls and this particular schoolgirl also looks like a grown up honoka

Holy shit, so most of the people she killed are people that met Honoka. What does Honoka do to them to be "mercy killing" so much??

Don't understand why would anyone know who Honoka is, she wasn't someone who was memorable, just a random quiet girl so anyone can die.

Elana is trying to protect Claire from "Honoka" who seeks people not knowing her... like I mentioned, she wasn't someone special so everyone can die now.

It's also obvious that Kaito gathered the 100 coins and now is guarding them, killing anyone who tries to gather them from where the space ship crashed.
Not everyone is malicious, his sense of judgment is flawed so he can also kill innocent people...
