I legitimately do not understand what people mean by "unlikable MC", he seems just fine to me.
So I've read it on another site, I will give it one thing, its so bad that its interesting how bad it is that it kept me reading. But the story itself is bottom tier trash and even the MC is completely unlikable.
While its understandable that you'd want to be ruthless in an ice age and not trust anyone, he's been with the side characters for over 200 chapters and yet he still thinks of them as disposable pawns even after they've helped him. There is being careful / wary and then there is never getting over your fears.
Typically, as the majority of bottom tier stories like this, the MC is an unredeemable piece of garbage and a bloodthirsty warlord with no morals. He thinks one dimensionally, just like the villains, and can't plan for the future. He, and his supporting cast, have no idea how to prevent troubles from arising, rather they chase them and then complain that those problems exist.
