Hell... it's about time.

I'm not sure how to feel about this, the entire five chapters have all been set up to get in the dungeon. There hasn't been an arc nor any character development yet.
My thought is why start the story where there's only three of the six party members and they need to run around the city to recruit the other three? It just feels like wasting time. I get that there is a little bit of world building going on, how people abandoned the quest to kill the Source of Death and instead began focusing on treasure. But I don't think the rest of it was worth it, especially this last chapter just recruiting a monk and moving on. Why not have the monk already in the party? There wasn't a point to them going to the arena and finding him, it just felt like a waste of pages. His reasoning for joining was just like "Oh yeah I guess I'll do that.", ??? I mean isn't what the MC saying completely suicidal? Unless the Monk has some hidden agenda it's ridiculous he'd join up so easily.
But I could say the same thing about the Spear chick, why not have just had her join them in the Inn after the MC faced off against the thugs? She witnesses him stand up and decides to help them. The only thing we learned by going to the Cathedral was about the wounded people being preserved for all eternity or until someone pays off their debt to save them. So unless this comes up again later... it's useless information right? So what I'm saying is the main point of these scenes
MC goes to Tavern to recruit Appraiser -> Goes to Cathedral to recruit Spear -> Spear takes them to Arena to recruit Monk -> Go into Dungeon
BUT!
Why the fuck would you not just have MC and his THREE companions (Monk already in the group) start at the Cathedral to pray for their success.
Then have them go to the Inn where they save the appraiser and impress the Spear-woman, THEREFORE recruiting both of them at the same time. We can have a rumor that anyone who leaves with the Spear never returns alive. Or if the Cathedral is pointless information, just skip that entirely and just do the tavern section then straight into the dungeon!

Boy I'm just shaving off pointless pages here. Would've saved us like three chapters.

page 6 : in the Colosseum , they are playing baseball ? note the diamond-shape field , the number of players , and on a player 's helmet are 3 bats and 1 ball decoration .

- stupid girl , i dont need no body-bag . if my "friends" were dead in the dungeon , i would just left the corpses to rot , and i would loot their money and equipments , instead of wasting my time and effort to drag them out , and wasting my money to bury them . they were total strangers to me .
