They covered her eyes because they look semi realistic and it’s creepy in a manga where most girls have ovals and circles for eyes

and the samurai 's lines make him sound like an a$$hole with big ego : " EXPLAIN YOURSELF . THAT IS AN ORDER . "
in page 17 , the eyes of the big b00bs girl suddenly change color . i guess the reason is that this mangaka has 2 assistants who draw the eyes for the characters .
last page :
- priestess : your donation to the cathedral is so little . YOU HERETIC .
- what do you mean ? you greedy priestess . you virgin priestess .

when compare , the small , cheap church in the previous version looks like crap , lol :

I think I see why they changed artist... the storyboarding of the last one was terrible.
Say what you want about the art, personally, I like this one, but the pacing in the last series was atrocious.
All the GS stories have a thing in common... they take their time and pace events and dialogue well, with the first version of this, there were a lot of things were mushed together to speed run things, the lancer gall was already revealed, which interrupted the presentation of the first characters.
Kumo-sensei must have made his opinion known and demanded someone with better storyboarding.
