i hate shit like this when characters exposit but they exposit without actually revealing anything making it just useless.
"he's the son of HER" her who? no one would ever have a conversation where the first time they mention someone they called them her/him instead of a name, it just doesn't make sense and the only reason they talked like that was because we were watching them talk and the author didn't want to reveal anything.. but if that was the case then why even fucking shit it? what was the point?

and here we go again. Literally can't go two chapters without a new conflict. I get that this is about fighting, growing stronger, but can it not just chill for a bit and not have only one thing it can possibly do to advance the story?
