Seriously, people at Bandai that make decisions which kit would be P-Bandai deserve a special place in hell.

Lots of factors come into play, but one of them is Bandai's lax copyright laws in their early years.
Properties like Advance of Zeta (which woundwort come from) are partly owned by Dengeki Japan and Bandai has to pay a royalty fee everytime they release a kit of it.

Also since the designs are not 100% owned by bandai, they are not subject to Bandai's stipulation that they have to be easy to make a kit of it and they are free to come out more fancier and crazier designs which are more costly to produce. Hence when a kit does get released of it, its usually sent to the realm of big bux Pbandai.

For the G and Wing gundams, those kits were first produced when wing and G were airing on TV and were Hot shit, hence Bandai's investment in producing the other main gundams from the series. Unfortunately due to the ravages of time =drop in popularity and market feedback, Bandai came to the conclusion those other gundams dont sell well hence Pbandai again.
Personally I disagree on that, Bandai should have taken the L and released the rest of the bunch. You can't have the Backstreet Boys with just Nick Carter.
