I don't know why so many people have problem with 10-years gap. IMO, it's still acceptable. My parents age gap is 11 years, and their marriage lasted until my father passed away few years ago.

Also, in this manga, even they have 10 years age gap, both of them are an adult with plenty of life experience now. So, there's no problem now.

I obviously don't have a problem with a 10-year agegap if you read my comment correctly. And no, they were not both adults during the part I commented on!
