The past participles of strong verbs are rarely if ever the same as the simple past tense. Translators whose native language is not English would generally benefit from posting by their work areas tables of the forms of strong verbs.

“have run”, not “have ran”

I love reading mahjong manga despite having zero idea how to play it.
I've been reading Saki for years but I gave up trying to understand because of all the BS super powers lol but with just this single chapter I was like OOOOOOOH so that's the gist of it, naruhodo!

I learnt Chinese Mahjong in my childhood, not sure which variation, whatever it is my grandaunt plays with all the other old people during CNY. I can't for the life of me remember the rules now, but I suppose rather than relearn it I'll attempt to step into the world of Japanese Mahjong with this instead, my mind is recalling and linking some similarities between the two. Also, cute ojous 'innit?
