Why would anyone complain about a gatcha system?
You have way to strenghten the equipment but it has a low chance of sucess. Everyone knows about this, the system exists for the ones that are luck enough to get stronger with to do it.
That or there is something more to this system that no one understand yet but could increase the chances of success, which would explain why that guy was able to succed so many times. Off course it could be an reincarnated person with some skill that makes the success rate high or something (Like Luck III).
