After an internal discussion, it has been decided that we will move the fan coloured chapters to its own title ID, so they will no longer show up in the follows. If people like the coloured version, they can follow that separately.

And what was the result of internal discussion about group's wishes being directly violated? Will you also make the colorer to move to "his own translation"?

At this point in time, the staff are split in their opinion on that matter, @Aeleth

Some believe the colourer should obtain permission first, while others believe that this is essentially policing scans, and that's a can of worms we shouldn't be opening.

If we did start policing scans, where will it end? It's a slippery slope that is not going to end well - there are a lot of scans that people would want banning, stuff like sniping, bad translations, etc.

Hopefully, having the coloured manga on a separate ID will reveal the actual level of interest in it. If no one's interested in it, no one is going to bother with the colouring.

If the release is in violation of your own rules, the should be no split of opinions (namely 2.3.2, 2.3.5). Coloring is by no means "significant difference" or improvement and you can clearly see a colorer's reason for releases below.

As for limit to policing, remember when batoto allowed apng releases because of the same "neutrality stance". That was officially endorsed clusterfuck that only served to hurt everybody. Even drama and sniping is still a scanlation and I'm not proposing to police it. There is a simple, easily understandable limit what can be considered scanlation and no scanlation group would say this is part of it, do you know any? I see no slippery slope here.
