That cover must've been yet another reference. Or am I wrong? I can't quite put my finger on it though.

fun trivia: nivkh/gilyak is the oldest surviving setlers of sakhalin island (more than 5000 bc), which far older than tunguistic people (a sub of mongoloid family, where ainu and orok originated, and probably japan also, but russian is caucasoid) which come very later (orok and ainu is migrated to sakhalin around 500 bc)... so they has complitely different culture than what soo far we have seen... sky burial is one of them and we might even explore more diverse culture we never seen....

Closest matches for nipponese western movie posters I could come up with are "Outlaw" and "Cheyenne Social Club".

Am I the only one who suspects Kiroranke is making Asirpa have "fake memories" of her dad or...?? Like he probably says or suggests shit to make her make up memories without realising.

@Volphied Such lifestyle is very common for all tundra peoples. They're all limited by similar conditions.

No, he tries to make her remember what the key could be for the code on the tattoed skins since Noppera-bou is dead, Asirpa is the only one who can break the code.
