Golden man killed a man in self-defense, and of course none of dozens of named characters do or should care. But a random disagreeable bystander is mad about it. So he wanders free, doing his old job but with more roleplay, and everyone is fine with him not being in prison.

But Oiran Trooper who was brainwashed and is now fixed and essentially a completely different person is instead forced to be in prison instead of also being allowed to roam around.

Where is there any atonement and/or justice in any of that?

I'm curious if that would have been different without the axe.

Sad to see it go, but at least it didn't really overstay its welcome (even if it was a little rushed there at the end). Oh well, I really enjoyed it overall, and I'm really thankful that you stuck with it and translated it all over the years. And as much as I'd like to see an anime adaptation, I'm not gonna hold my breath since there's not much of a reason to advertise something that's done. And Centipede survived, which is all that really matters

It's fold up nicely and I don't think it is that rushed.

Well, indeed there are some of the characters that not getting too much screentime (I do expecting more in-depth story about Cinnamon protecting the city while Moboroshi absence), but i'm glad that the author didn't drag the series for too long.

Now, I hope there will be an anime adaptation for this.

A bit sad the reason why evil-man's power suddenly stopped working is omitted (I don't take that "everything stolen will be gone" nicely).
