I was binge reading this absolutely fantastic series and oh my god not a bad chapter in the bunch! It's all so wonderful. Also I kinda feel Kamen Rider vibes and I love Kamen Rider so yeah peak. And an intresting development!

My take on the real moroboshi is that he doesn’t know he has been gone for a long time, seeing how the « dark side » people can manipulate space, it wouldn’t be weird if they sent him to another dimension or shit where time goes differently, so for him only few hours or maybe a day passed. That’s why he’s so casual, from his viewpoint he just broke free for a weird power that separated him from his suit a few hours ago.
Now if he was fighting Cello back then, things gonna get messy really quick
