It's precisely because Gard is so "kind" that all of this is happening and the academy is being destroyed. After all, he's a person who had the power to dispose of extremely dangerous criminals, but he chose not to. Unsurprisingly the criminals put his misplaced mercy to good use and the rest is history.

But then again, maybe that academy could use a bit of destruction. It might become a better place afterwards, especially considering that goblin of a headmaster.

I get that the villain needs to have some form of threat since MC is giga powerful but this is the most contrived bs. Headmaster was no diffed and the only way they're keeping up is chalk with MCs power in it, if the power level of MC is so obscene he has to literally have his power stolen for a level of threat maybe look for a different form of challenge or danger for him to face.

She'll likely be forgiven and join the harem at the end too. Bah.
