You know, to all the people complaining how this is just another generic banished manga slop, I do agree with that sentiment. But you all can't deny that even if this is just like a generic radio pop song #100, most of us still bop to it.
A pussy is still a pussy no matter how common..

Rough but right.

okay, I already knew this was going to be trash tier, but using fire magic inside your mansion? I have seen a lot of nonsense, but wanting to go to school even tho you are an ex-sage makes no fucking sense. imagine being a sage from the past and playing the little nobel helper, rescuing the village because you can only help people by playing butler. then goes to the capital to become the next white knight butler.

Nobles can't hurt commoners? The fuck? Nobles can use magic and yet he thinks he's untouchable cuz he's a commoner?

Was this translated correctly or weird writing from the author?
Didn't the brat just tried to burn MC alive? Is it only for nobles from the capital? So many question.

Does anyone have trope counter? I was super paying attention but there were atleast 6 in this first chapter.

We are at 7. With 4 to be expected just from this alone.

Calling it generic is an overstatement.

And that ignoring that it's a manga designated for a young male audiance.

What a pathetic pushover. He's been killing monsters for them his whole life but never realized that they don't believe him? You'd expect him to be smarter than your average cretin if he really was a mage in his previous life.

Seems like pure slop made up of common tropes not even fully understood by the author. Bookmarked, time to hate-read I guess.

Don't worry, he won't die.
Like anyone besides you fucking goofball actually cares about this.

"I can only use mid tier magic" he says as he transmigrated to another world. Okay guy.

All of these protagonists are supposedly once in a millennium geniuses who reached the peak in their previous life but somehow they behave as if their Iq and EQ are that of a 12 year old. "I have no common sense of this era" he says while having lived in this world for so long. He has not been isolated from all the people at all. All the servant and news he could have access too, even just hearing them could give him information. And what was he doing before he got adopted by those filth? Wasn't he among the normal people and could naturally understand the normal lives and thoughts of them?

Like come on, I like cliche because it's relaxing, but I have standard after all. Even if the story is cliche, it must be executed correctly without all these giant plot holes. A well executed cliche is a relaxing and cozy story that everyone likes but lazy writing where the author doesn't put effort into the story and just vaguely comes up with random excuses for everything that happens in it is just an insult to the readers eyes.
