I absolutely ADORE his homeroom teacher. She's kind, considerate, understanding, has a foxy figure despite her childish build, hates the elitist jerk principal and is very helpful to the mc. As you can see on the cover for vol 3, she also uses hair magic like Sense from Frieren which is a nice touch.

You've covered it better than I could. 6 is a good score, nothing spectacular but certainly not bad, and you actually like most of the characters after a while. The art and expressions do tend to carry it more than it would otherwise.
