She drives her bike? Which means the global economy and international trade are in remarkably good condition in this post-apoc future. Everything starting from oil wells and ending at your local gas station needs to be in running order. You don't just source your gasoline from abandoned stores, because it has a shelf life; under optimal conditions a few years but most likely six months. (So no Mad Max Road Warrior for you unless you're able to constantly produce more.)
