So, what does everyone think of the first chapter?

The art is pretty damn good and it already showed a lot of promise,at least for me, when I read it for the first time.

I'm picking this manga up, first time, for want of some fun dumb action. My current impressions?

I already like the art and the main character. I, admittedly, have fairly cliche taste and so I've a soft spot for delinquent protagonists. The way he reverts to a Kansai accent when angry is kinda unique. Reminds me of how some well-spoken black dudes tend to go full ebonics when pissed off, lol.

My only real gripe so far is the progression of scenes from panel-to-panel. It'll probably get better later on, but as of chapter one the "camera" is all over the damn place. No annoying overuse of Dutch angles, though, so it's tolerable.

@RisQ A cheer squad is just that, a squad that does cheerleading and shit. In Japan it's apparently called an ōendan, and they don't really do the acrobatic stuff. They just have fun making noise, so it's not seen as unmanly to be on one or anything.
