Honestly this is why years ago I decided that the best cheat isekai skill is simply translation. Complete translation that is able to translate anything is totally enough to make an isekai series off of but it's so often just thrown in as a bonus without much thought into how huge an ability it really is

Especially if the protagonist eventually realizes the translation extends beyond traditional languages. If it lets you communicate with nonverbal creatures that rely more on body language, you might be able to tame creatures nobody else can tame, or broker a truce with incomprehensible monsters if a conflict revolves around a persistent misunderstanding. If it extends to the language of magic and lets you understand incantations or chants or runes, you might be able to invent new spells or rituals that nobody else realized were possible.

Could even theoretically extend to tone of voice and intent at the utmost highest levels making it near impossible to lie to the user so even starting out with a more basic version there's still a very large path for upgrades and going from mildly OP to so busted it's barely even fun anymore which is the progression most isekai take.
