i actually kinda like him not killing, especially given the character and world justifications.
And it seems kind of interesting that he's using the skills that he was given from the destroyer who raised him with affection, to fight without killing people,
it also puts some tension into lopsided fight's.( unless the opponent is a bullcrap walking plot disaster who takes forever to fall for no discernible reason)
