Considering the buffs we've seen in his normal cooking, I'm quite curious how powerful this 'godly' food buff will be.
I also wonder what his permanent buff was for eating phoenix eggs. Every new food, remember?

Welp, speculation time!
Since he didn't realize the eggs weren't quail eggs, the buff probably wasn't distinct (to him).

It's also entirely possible he didn't look at the initial buff window, so it could be a good buff.
As for buffs a phoenix's eggs might give, maybe something related to fire, rebirth, or healing? It could also give a buff like "easily recognized by birds".

There's not much to go off of.

Wut? I mean, it's not like balut (unhatched chick still inside an egg) or anything which might cause you to think twice about eating? I'm not sure what kind of test that was, unless people have an aversion to eating quail eggs?
But I guess he did say that only the successor could eat it? So unless it's like a magical power preventing people from eating the dish itself (which is complicated af) I guess it makes more sense?

Nope. Not with hangovers.
Technically they are good to eat while drinking. So fried bananas or other cooked bananas would go good with alcohol.

The reason is because alcohol dries your body out while bananas with are high in potassium stops that. They also got a bunch of other vitamins and can help settle a stomach.
So your hangover won't be as hard as it would be because bananas helped regulate your body from a few of the harmful effects of drinking alcohol.

Though personally I found plantains work just as well. And you can make more stuff out of plantains since they aren't as mushy as bananas are.
