@1sTAndy it wouldn't be in something like runescape but in most of other MMO's it would be kinda weird. Esspecially when most players wan't to leave the starting area and just move onto the actual game instead of playing the tutorial for many days.

@KamiKira00 we dont know the value of gold yet. It probably isnt worth that much in mid/endgame. And its hard to obtain, its really hard to kill if youre not high level(well high for a beginner). And the scarecrow gives very low xp for attacking the scarecrow and the chicken doesnt even give xp. And people cant get in the tutorial area after finishing it. And considering it spawns only once a month, people knowing about the event and no one bothers to level up before going to the chicken area, its probably not that valuable

If there's a cooking system & level, people might do it to level past a certain stage of it, but otherwise the only reasons why someone would hunt and cook a lot of chickens is that there's either storage nearby , or they're a very efficient health regaining method due to some reason.

They don't really just hunt them to kill them to eat them for the taste, considering there's no taste in most games.
