Can't deal with the nuclear levels of bad taste served by this lousy industry.
Too many actual interesting series get the axe way too early, while tedious slop like Hope You're Happy Lemon will get over 100 chapters. It just makes me not want to invest in any promising serializations.

One of the better endings among all the axed stories for sure, but I would have loved to see more of this. The setting was really interesting and the art style was really good as well. Let's see what the author does next.

Shame about this series, I really enjoyed it but you can tell it rushed the last few chapters

I think a to might do with the place things get published. Much like EA and blizzard cant stomach having anything without battlepasses and mtxes, some of the bigger shonen magazines expect wayyyyyyy too much and in specific metrics that are bad for this sorta title. Everyone has their own stories of manga they wish hadnt gotten axed.... I remember Dual Arts in... Shonen Jump, I bet if that had been published elsewhere it would still be going. That magazine is so axe happy.

Two on Ice: a skating manga that presents an allegory of Milton's Paradise Lost ---> Axed
Goze Hotaru: a take on historical gozes with a low-level supernatural presence from japanese myths ---> Axed
I guess Existential Unplugged will be the next one to suffer the axe. After all, it's "just" Philosophy...

If you need me, I'm gonna cry over there... :meguuusad:

Deffo recommend paying attention to Harta, which seems to have like half of the interesting stuff getting published these days. If I could subscribe to it overseas I would in a heartbeat.

damn it axed. it has very beautiful art and very interesting premise, damped by it vague supernatural element and directionless storyline. it's also very niche. understandable it's too unpopular to survive, wish it was longer. 7/10.

I'm glad the author didn't just try to wrap up all the plot threads in one chapter. Gives at least some hope for a continuation someday. It's happened before
