I think a to might do with the place things get published. Much like EA and blizzard cant stomach having anything without battlepasses and mtxes, some of the bigger shonen magazines expect wayyyyyyy too much and in specific metrics that are bad for this sorta title. Everyone has their own stories of manga they wish hadnt gotten axed.... I remember Dual Arts in... Shonen Jump, I bet if that had been published elsewhere it would still be going. That magazine is so axe happy. Can't deal with the nuclear levels of bad taste served by this lousy industry.
Too many actual interesting series get the axe way too early, while tedious slop like Hope You're Happy Lemon will get over 100 chapters. It just makes me not want to invest in any promising serializations.
Deffo recommend paying attention to Harta, which seems to have like half of the interesting stuff getting published these days. If I could subscribe to it overseas I would in a heartbeat.I think a to might do with the place things get published.
