Agreed. When the author's notes at the end basically said, "I wanted to write a love triangle but failed, that would be mean, but I'll try harder next time," I could only be baffled—the whole, "actually I guess we're both okay if us two are just BFFs," side of this story was the breath of fresh air in it XD
