I know it's for plot convenience, but it seems weird that big tree and his male friend didn't end up together since they are closer than him and that girl. Also I don't see that dude hang out that much with those girls unless in a group with the others. Just seems a bit forced to try to move the plot along. Everything with that female rival seems forced.

@kltigerm Yeah that's very strange. And like they all go together but they are separated and instead of trying to regroup the guy propose to separate the bigger group in two seemingly randomly to avoid problems? But then why go together to start with? And like you say the groups seems strange too. The only reason I could see is if the guy who proposed to split the group is trying to make the blonde girl and big tree closer for some reason. Maybe he noticed the blonde girl is interested in big tree or something.

And if it really just plot convenient then the author should have just made them lost in the crowd with those groups directly. That would already seems less strange imo.

@Mivas I agree there had to be an easier way to get them to group together. Seemed like they wanted to put in the joke at the end that oh they are the three stooges. That's the thing though they are barely supporting characters, we dont know much about them and they are so minor that it probably would have gone unnoticed anyway. I know what end goal is for the story, but it's just weird pacing and unnecessary drama. I'm not even sure why the blonde likes ml so much I dont even think it was him that helped her that one time.
