I mean, saying he wasn't fit was going a bit far, but he's right. The director was the one with the vision. The manager didn't have to do anything when they're already on set apart from, well, managing their talents.
So if their talents have got issues with tools, or the cast, or other quirks like allergies, it's the manager's job to make sure they're all taken care of so that the talent can do their job. It's not the manager's part to drop critique on how the talent does their job.

He has a point but his conclusion is stupid.
He just needs to lay off critiquing her acting since it's not his job. That doesn't mean he's unfit to be a manager, only that bro's been bending over backwards for her unnecessarily.
