I'd for that this to be the case, guess I'm also just prepared now after hearing the behind the scenes rumours going on with Katsura Airi. Also rip they deleted their Suisei Miku song repost and just tweeted bout the live action streaming on some other platform now lol.
Interesting I guess maybe she is feeding with the publisher but the netorare arch seed to be planned for a long time to me. It's possible they told her not to do it and she did it anyways.

It tracks if Katsura was told to end it soon and 129 was supposed to happen further down the line but I don't think that should've ever happened so its just all around weird, all we can hope for is that there was a grander vision/plan in mind and we're still in the middle of it but
That she was told by the publisher to end grapara got made and gave us a bad ending to spite the publisher. But of that was true it backfired because it would seem interest is at a all time high people want Sakura and shinobu to get back together for him to get with fumi or for Sakura to suffer or a combination of all three.

That publisher Kondansha is done with Katsura and moving on soon. Proof of this is like allowing her to have X spats with fans, although she was eventually silenced. It is pure speculation as no one here has insider info as far as I know, but sometimes long time fans with their evidenced speculation can prove be the truth. Explains the pacing of the last few chapters, nothing is confirmed though, heck the sudden silence could be Kodansha reigning Katsura in and giving her a 2nd chance if she can either fix the manga or if she tells them she actually had a broader vision of the story in place and they approve.
See that rumor makes no sense to me. I think 129 was planned from the get go but was poorly executed and they underestimated the backlash which is why she has been so quiet.

I'd like to believe this much more than a publisher fallout into a grudge war between where the manga has to suffer. Still leaves food on the table for the story to keep going somewhere and not doomed to some pathetic ending just yet.
The song is still up she didn't delete it.
Well if she was really in a feud with the publisher it would be short and grapara would just be cancelled.
Plus the fans she was antagonizing were over seas fans we mean nothing to the publisher right now

Oh I was under the impression she was lashing out at JP ones as well, intersting. This somehow makes me feel a bit better, the remaining endings look rough but knowing the author won't intentionally choose the worst is something.

@box2024 You are mistaken. Those comments come from both Japanese people and foreigners. The reason you see so many foreigners on X is that the official website only supports Japanese. So, most people have to vent or lodge complaints via X whereas Japanese users tend to post their comments on the website instead. As for the Japanese fans who do use X, it is usually because their comments on the official site were deleted or blocked.
I'm not to sure I know she didn't specify when she said no to the rewrite so I think that was for the jp fans which also tells us it was all planned but she is being really quiet these past few days plus so many comments have been deleted I think it's safe to say a clear majority is unhappy with how things turned out and I do not think she expected that. Because she knows she is known for ntr.
Oh I noticed how bad the censorship got they deleted the top comment on chapter 130 that had been up for six days listening off all the things shinobu did for sakura I thought that was rather odd seeing as it was rather a tame comment.

If you read the comments on the official website (in Japanese), you'll see that Japanese people say the exact same things as foreigners!
I know right they can't comprehend why normal people would have a problem with where the story went I know a lot of the criticism was from other jp commenters so it's not like it's just foreigners .
I use the translator to read them if anyone wanted to see what the top comment that they deleted for 130 it's either at the front of this thread or at the tail end of the form thread for chapter 130
