Well, I don't think the question is movie > TV drama, I think the question is Sakura's role in the TV drama. I think it makes a big difference whether Sakura has a major role or a side role in terms of understanding where her career stands after the timeskip

If Shinobu is still hung up on her enough that he can't move on that it becomes a different story. Honestly Airi should just cop out, drop the entire current setup and settle for fuckboi's crazed stalker attacks Sakura for stealing her boyfriend and Shinobu shows up to save the day again.

Both a good and bad thing, story can still go places, Airi's no vanilla Shakespeare but she's also never really fumbled the endings as badly as people would want you to believe, or else Karamizakari wouldn't have been sucessful enough to get her to where she is and allowing her to do GraPara! Not much longer now, just buckle down and maybe 132 will reveal something conclusive.
