I just thought about this, but there is a very high chance that the author might just go for a very neutral ending because of the backlash, with both parties now with different partners, and either making peace with each other or maybe even not meeting at all. This way the author does not have to compromise on her ntr fetish, by not having to make Sakura experience any sort of guilt or consequences, while also not angering readers further by not making shinobu your average ntr cuck and him moving on instead. A big cope out but probably what it going to happen.

I think the meeting is definitely a sure thing, there's no way the last interaction between the two main characters could be some shitty five-word text message

It took a few months of depression but Shinobu is back on his feet and just landed a major writer/director gig. Now its just about getting the script done and starting the production with all the actors assembled. Things are looking pretty good for him, even if fuckboi is involved in this arc and tries some dumb shit again.

We're all hoping for that. When it comes to Airi, Shinobu is easily her best written male character. No one here hates him.

He's kind, always putting Sakura over himself. He's depressed about what happened but not letting it hold him back fully right now.

Best of all? No signs of cuck behavior ANYWHERE. Time and time again he's shown to be bothered when thinking of Sakura sleeping with someone else.

We want him to succeed. We want him to have a good ending. He needs one. If all the girls end up failing. We at least get a Shinobu that's seen as good for him.

To be fair the baits no longer work after you go full netorare nobody will care because it has been shown that the author will go all the way if she doesn't she will not please the ntr bros if she dose she lose the last of her romcom fans if any are left.

I certainly felt this way about Guilty Circle, hell the ntr scene there only worked for me because the fmc and Mc were both retarded and unlikable and I took joy in watching them fail. Now that the line has been crossed what's the writer gonna do? Wind up the same scene but this time with a different fmc? Like they sold out for that moment and that included selling any interest, like who even genuinely gave a fuck if fmc finds her sister or not.

Then he meets Sakura, takes a knife stab for her and the manga takes off from there. This is also what convinces me so powerfully that Shinobu will reject Fumi because right now he has a golden opportunity before him with this major movie project and he'll need to put forth the best script he can write to increase those odds of success. Fumi is a good girl, but she's not Sakura and the situation between her and Shinobu is complicated even if Shinobu doesn't actively blame her for the breakup out of kindness, and hooking up with here and now will not allow Shinobu to write the best script he can because he'll be torn in two different directions.

The producer doesn't know about Shinobu's circumstances and likely suggested that because he just liked what he saw with Fumi acting ability but wanted a better romance aspect to the script. I think Shinobu can manage fine by writing a script substituting Sakura for Fumi. Everything is still up in the air, no one knows what Shinobu's response will be outside of slinging guesswork until 132.

That would just underline how bad airi really is if she gives shinobu no good ending and let slutkura get through with all of this. If she wanna redeem her she has to do a lot of things. Especially SHE has to go to shinobu and initiate the conversation

The best course I can see for Sakura at this point is her guilt. For her to realize she's always needed Shinobu. Suffering through her own realizations. Not through physical acts like being tossed around from man to man.
