The best outcome is Shinobu helps her out and parts ways with Sakura after telling her the truth and Sakura just goes on a downward spiral and chooses to go into adult industry, eventually after a timeskip Shinobu and Fumi happen to see one of her JAV videos and Shinobu laments her fate.

Best case scenario, the closure allowed Shinobu to fully move on and be in a relationship with Fumi.
