Whoa, the netobros getting salty because there isn't a humiliation arc. Unfortunately I have to add "yet" but so far Shinobu is acting quite normal for someone who got dumped in such circumstances.

Let's see what happens but this chapter is so romcom normal that is possible that the higher-ups told Katsura Airi in no uncertain terms to dial the fuck down the ntr... or she is fixing to completely destroy any shred of dignity in Shinobu.

Taking into account this chapter, my prediction changes a bit.

Shinobu will get it on with Fumi. His junk will work. Fumi knows that although he is with her, his heart still pines for Slukura. Later on Slukura will come back to work with him, but he will not give her the time of day. Rumor has it that Slutura is fucking her way through the industry, that she is talented, pretty but her ankles seldom stay close to each other.

Shinobu still love her but Fumi realizes that he is too kind to break up with her, so she lets herself be stolen by some fuccboi so Shinobu leaves her. Slukura flies in and finally manages to speak to him alone. She says she misses him. She needs him. She needs his protection. He finally accepts her.

Then we find out that that night was the only time she was with the fuccboi, as Fumi soon after told her everything. But Slutura was too ashamed to go back to Shinobu and "leaves him in Fumi's care." Fuccboi, if he really isn't a piece of shit, leaves her alone when she tells him Shinobu never cheated. We go through "fuccboi montage" but Slutura by herself manages to fend them all off. She doesn't need Shinobu's protection anymore.

They have a career together and eventually marry. To that day Slutura sometimes pretends she's on the verge of being stolen so Shinobu can "rescue her."

The end.

Queue in author doujinshis where Slutura is taken by every male character that had hade more than two panels in the entire work.

This is where my mind is heading too, except for maybe a few changes:

- Sakura probably still getting dicked down, I’m gonna assume the one page in this chapter where it’s just Yuma on top of Sakura IS happening, but I’m gonna assume that it mainly is him wanting sex and her humoring him. I think she’s probably not that into it compared to when she’s with Shinobu (past chapters show her saying it actually felt good, doing oral and getting into different position, whereas Yuma she’s just flat on her back and not reacting much). She’s not able to cum, and will probably only do so with Shinobu if they get back together.

- I think Fumi will probably confront Sakura in some way since she still has her number. Probably like “he wasn’t cheating on you before, but he’s mine now, I won’t lose, you actually betrayed him unlike me, etc.” Then probably go through an arc of her getting whisked away or stepping aside.

I haven’t read the author’s other work, so maybe I’m totally off, but that’s basically the generic way I see things unfolding.

I've read Japanese forums and those here. I see comments that I assume are people's thoughts, but not necessarily based on what's shown in the episode.

For example, some people were saying that Shinobu was fine because he was sleeping in Sakura's old room. I understood the opposite; I think he was sleeping there because he missed her.
They were also commenting on how it was impossible that Fumi didn't know Shinobu had broken up with Sakura after a few months. It's obvious that after Shinobu's last movie, they hadn't seen each other since there were no joint projects.
When Shinobu is at Fumi's house, Sakura keeps coming up in casual conversation, which means Shinobu is still thinking about her. Even though he says the breakup was for the best for Sakura, that doesn't mean he still thinks about her romantically.
Although I'd like him to, I think Shinobu won't accept Fumi's confession because, as I mentioned, I think he's still emotionally attached to Sakura. You can tell he speaks of her with admiration. All the images where Sakura is having sex, I think I understand, are in Shinobu's imagination. I don't see it as impossible that Sakura isn't living with Fuckboy and doesn't even have a relationship with him at all.
In Japan, they're saying that Sakura has another suitor, and the truth is, I don't know where they got that idea from, unless the Japanese text says otherwise.

The ones that were purely Shinobu' imagination were the one's during the cafe meeting. The ones following the "few months later" time skip seem more real imo but could still be Shinobu's imagination. One weird detail is that there's only 1 pillow on the bed, but that could equally well but a nothingburger because artist felt like it.. Pretty most important is Shinobu's response to the confession, whether he can push his lingering attachment to Sakura aside and move on. My prediction is no because he feels it would be unfair to Fumi, the both of them were way to involved with what happened but we'll have to see next week.

I have no hope that even if Sakura knows the truth, it will haunt her. She might think she could have acted differently and regret it, but I don't believe it will torment her. I say this mainly because the breakup was so abrupt that it implies Sakura wasn't in love with Shinobu at all. She may have admired him, been pleased by his behavior, and genuinely appreciated him, but that abruptness—the breakup and never seeing each other again—is not typical of a woman in love, even if she's heartbroken. It's the attitude of someone capable of erasing an entire relationship from her memory in a second, as if it never existed. Even my ex-wife and I maintain a cordial relationship; we're not friends, but we haven't completely forgotten each other and wish each other well.

No worries, i know exactly what's she like. Up to this point i guessed a lot of it... Even this ch i was pretty close.

But given that she didn't break MC at this point, and it was the ideal time, gives you some kind of hope. Damage control in the back from the publisher is also veeeery possible.
