Doubt it, chapter was relatively calm, providing setup for a future arc and then leaving thing off on a lighter/hotter note near the end there.

Nothing against Fumi but she is the reason the misunderstanding happened and I could see that being one of the reasons Shinobu will refuse, he doesn't blame her but views them as coworkers. Shinobu now sleeping with Fumi will also remove the importance of clearing up the misunderstanding which feels self-destructive and we've had plenty of that already. Like you say tis all just guess work we're throwing around for the sake of it to see which side is more likely to win out.

If you can't communicate then the relationship stands no chance regardless of any outside noise. Like as far as misunderstandings go this is a pretty simple, easily resolved one. Like just think about it, if Sakura responds to any adversity by immediately spiraling and cheating, is she really a serious partner?

Correct, right now they can't communicate, with the time skip that's become even harder, but I see a golden opportunity with this movie, especially with Shinobu being both director and writer. Sakura's response to this misunderstanding was heavily influenced by several external factors and not just her own judgment. Remember the text she sent to the fuckboi all it said was confirming the cheating, so then why did fuckboi magically appear in front of her to effectively coerce her back to his place despite offering her the option of a taxi back home. Their feelings to me were genuine so I'd say Sakura was a serious partner to Shinobu.

Unlike KaramiZakari, GraPara! is being published by Kodansha, so there will be pressure from the collaborating artist, editor, and publisher pushing Airi to think about more than just fitting in her fetishes. I feel like everyone is pretty happy with the latest developments this chapter and is just waiting for the Fumi train to leave the station, which it very well could right in the next chapters. I'm already too well stocked on my tanks of copium and hope so I'm the only Team Sakura person just bouncing off other people posts here to engage.

We are all in here coping we know that shinobu is still hung up on sakura and that the writer doesn't want us to understand her as that's the purposes so she just comes of as fuckin stupid we know that shinobu will likely turn down fumi's confession because of the shadow of Sakura part of Katsura Airi wanting shinobu to keep suffering so we the readers can experience NTR well the story just keeps repeating itself at this point there is nothing to it other than NTR it's so fucking boring. Sakura likely doesn't view shinobu as someone of importance anymore as well what is the proof well she didn't even breakup with him via voice line she did it with a text I don't even think she knows fuckboi told him everything ethire not than that would change things so many plot hole and things that make no since.
