Sakura's response to this misunderstanding was heavily influenced by several external factors and not just her own judgment. Remember the text she sent to the fuckboi all it said was confirming the cheating, so then why did fuckboi magically appear in front of her to effectively coerce her back to his place despite offering her the option of a taxi back home. Their feelings to me were genuine so I'd say Sakura was a serious partner to Shinobu.

Yes, the answer is that the writer needed this to happen and she was willing to make Sakura look completely retarded to make it happen. Funny enough, if Ikeman is actually sincere about his desire for Sakura, he looks dumb by association just based off how easy and offhand it was.
