Its story that has veered extremely off course yet still we find ourselves at a crossroad of possibilities remaining that suggest the unlikely, but in a mature romance sometimes the road less traveled leads to the more compelling ending or another dud Katasura Airi ending if they continue to treat this is the H version of Karamizakari.

I only got through 34 pages of this thread, but I am going to throw my own theory (apologies if someone already said it):

This is Katsura, a notorious NTR writer. I think Sakura will end up pregnant via Yuma but will still somehow be taken back by Shinobu, effectively causing his career to self-destruct. This will cause him to spiral into depression, and Sakura will once again jump ship at the first sign of trouble, leaving him with no one to help him cope.

...Now obviously this statement was made tongue-in-cheek, but given the author, and having seen my fair share of NTR slop, this seems a possibility (though I pray to God this won't happen).

I feel like Airi wanted to NTR Sakura long ago and this has only been delayed to more than 120 chapters because the editor and publisher has been pressuring her to not take this route, but at some point she decided to just do it because she is incapable of writing a good romcom (or maybe she just doesnt want to, all she wants is NTR) with only baits and not actual NTR. And now that she has done it, the publisher no longer gives a fuck about her. And she probably wants to just keep writing stories that she actually wants (not romcoms that she is forced to write) and that is these shit-ass NTRs with sudden plot changes and no coherent story because her last work still sold a shit ton of copies and even has events planned. As much as we hate it, NTR still sells a lot in japan.

Would be probably the worst ending in manga history ngl. Considering that this is a attempt to go mainstream... this is no doujin where this could be done. If airi really wanna go that route than touche, but you probably lost all of your romcom fans.

Hmmmmm that's a good theory, but I don't think they'll bring up the pregnancy unless they do another timeskip. that would force Sakura to quit or take a break from acting and since she's getting new roles at her new agency, I doubt they'll go in that direction

To add to the point about the author wishing to avoid conflict with Japanese fans, if you have heard stories of fans tracking down authors at their homes or even burning down publishing houses, you would know that such fans can be extremely aggressive. So, many authors often conceal their identities and withhold contact details. I do not know if Airi Katsura sensei ever revealed her face to any fans. If she did even just once, she might fear that kind of aggression. This explains why she wouldn't dare respond to Japanese comments and instead simply instructed the web admin to delete them. She responds only to those she is certain are not in Japan. People she refers as foreigners.

I guess it depends on how much the author wants to gain/maintain a mainstream audience. I imagine this will be an uphill battle given her proclivity to toss out character development in favor of satisfying a fetish. She's already walking a thin line. Hope she gets her shit together before she trips over it (if that didn't already happen).
