My only defense is pictures can be worth 1000 words which is way too preachy. It might not even take a direction we expect just like 135, hard to say as we cling to specific events that scream common sense into the abyss that is KA logic holding the pen.

It'll probably be closer a romance tragicomedy no matter which ships it ends on. Fumi gets swept to the side as both side characters get burned for MC's to reunite, MC's resolve things with their current partners and find their own happily ever after, MC's both end single for a time skip reunion.....

Building up slutkura and shinobu for 100chapter to let them break up in 30(im generous here they didnt even talked much in this 30 let alone seen much). Building up fumi and shinobu to let them break up in 1... You couldn't even make up how garbage this writing is.

I think it would be pointless if Sakura and Shinobu return in a timeskip; in that case, I believe you could skip chapters 130-135 and not miss anything.

The Sakura PoV's maybe, but for Shinobu it was needed to show him getting up off his feet and pursuing his directing aspirations since the beginning, though I'm really not suer what Airi's goal here is now torpedo'ing that dream by having Fumi act so oddly out of character, it doesn't feel like just a simple bait play.

My bare minimum has them accidentally meeting in a time skip epilogue, but I really do think they meet before it gets to that.

As for Shinobu, we'll have to see his reaction over in the next chapter to really say, though the lion share of the blame here does seem to lie with Fumi even though it was Shinobu making the choice to bring out that pen because of his talk with Ryusei, because how is he expected to know that Fumi was there when Sakura picked it out.

At that point we might as well blame Ryusei for saying Shinobu and Sakura were a great team if we're trying to lay it on Shinobu for not having "common sense" and bringing out a gift Sakura gave him.
