No you're on the right track. I like Sakura and it would be hard for me to say this, but she would have to essentially become near nympho levels of "fallen" in order for it to be karma, and at that point you'd almost have to feel bad for fuckboi in a way because it means that he does "love" her to that extent, but I won't be sympathizing one bit because of what the two of them did to Shinobu. Doesn't matter how genuine fucboi's love for Sakura is, Shinobu was the the one there for her first and did way more than finding a necklace and praying at some love shrine could ever equate.

Mean yea but not unexpected. Given it's her letting loose. I'd be for it honestly if it means fuckboi getting his comeuppance.

Granted one way I can see this whole ordeal being "redeemed" is if Fumi realizes her mistake and realizes she can't fill those shoes. Yet out of love for Shinobu still, reaches out to Sakura and tells her the truth. Causing the girl to run off and try to reach Shinobu.

But that's just coping.

He deserves this. But would be a little depressing for Sakura, girl is already feeling empty inside, considering her non-existent smarts, if she tries to fill that void with sex she would easily end like one of those twisted hentai works. I just want her to learn the truth and move on. (And stay away from the mc, please).

I think is hard to predict what is going to happen because Airi can do any move to make that ending being totally stupid.
