9 chapters of zero interactions between MC/FMC will do that to ya. It's not off the table that KA opts out and never addresses this by having them not meet but I'd like to believe the chance of this to be quite small especially in the final chapter. The years timeskip will be in the epilogue likely so if that's when they meet, it'll probably be quite sad at that point so I'm hope this isn't what they're doing.

The thing is, we haven't even had a “I miss Sakura” or a “I miss Shinobu” moment, just memories that had more to do with work than with their relationship. I think there'll be a timeskip, and they'll start all over again with secrets and unresolved misunderstandings.

Oh the ending will 100% suck the needles fumi drama potential ending sakura with fuckboi even putting her and shinobu back together would suck no build up no drama between the two or the most likely ending shionbu ends up alone by himself again the way her started while making other people famous always being in the shadow of not just Sakura but other people's suscues. Ending will suck shit right out of the asshole no matter.

From a filming standpoint: It would be fraud, if not worse, to pretend it isn't explicit if it was.
From a performer standpoint: It would be rape (obviously assuming intent and non-consent).

Both sides still matter imo, we've yet to see any real romantic beats between fucboi and Sakura outside the "intimate" moments since the time skip. ShiFumi felt a lot more stable during 132>133 and now we're in the 135 situation and they were the much more popular shipping (still chance of bait or recovery).
