You, me, and many other people never thought it would sell well. I guess who thought it would do well were Katsura Airi, who used to brag about it on X, and the editor who blindly agreed with everything she said.

Well she isn't really bragging per say more like thanking her fans for the support. As well as being happy it was a success.

True but still it would have sold better if the netorare had happened in volume 13 at the end instead of the beginning of 14 plus would have given her more space to deal with the fallout properly.

Some of the low-rated reviews mention the NTR incident in the upcoming volume. I think the mere fact that there's going to be NTR involving the MC is enough to make many readers who have been following the series decide not to buy it.

Yes but I hope this isn't a review bomber and a real review. This is also why I keep saying the netorare needed to happen sooner it doesn't work well at all in long form stories.

Man my fixation over this fawking PEN business is amusing me right now the more I think about.

Like okay mah boi Shinobu had a nice little chat with Ryusei who says him and Sakura "were a great team", and then reflecting on that Shinobu brings out the fawking PEN to start his script revisions. But now that fawking PEN is what might scrap whatever relationship he had building with Fumi and it all comes back to Sakura like does this count as dark comedy or something here?

Well that's not good for arir but she should have known this was coming hopefully she learns from it with how to use netorare in her stories.

On that point, I think this time it's not as free of a slam dunk victory even though we see blonde coming back in here to talk with fucboi again. She does leave him some parting advice but both of them feel like they are admitting that not everything is going as perfectly because Sakura after her chat with Mio 1 month ago has found her "core" for acting which is apparently using her body to show of the "art of sexiness" or whatever we want to call it here, and she can't be controlled as easily because we see that she ended up taking the offer despite fucboi being so openly against it with her.

This conversation rather than hinting at a potential fucboi character development looming in the final chapter, I feel was meant to showcase Sakura's offscreen development where she has found her "core" and is making her own decisions for better or worse. If agency troubles surface for Sakura in the final chapter because her "pure and innocent" image is now warped, maybe she even transfers to Mio's agency atp.

I'll give it to you, you’ve been suffering through Shikura for 7 or 8 weeks now, so you deserve a moment of fascination. I hope Airi isn't too hard on you in 136 hahahahaha

At the end of the day this is just a story Arir will never be my favorite author and I won't get invested into any of her future works but I may still read them to see new people find themselves in my shoes for the lolz

Well it could be that's what happens there is a set up for it but Arir my sabotage the ending since she keeps getting harassed.

That possibility is a little too real for comfort. I'll pray a little bit, but not too much. In the end we're talkin about a fictional story, not something happening to someone irl.

This is true! So surely they meet...one last time at least, unless the idea is the close out the manga with Shinobu being labeled a cheater by half the girls (Nagi/Mio) he once rejected for Sakura as another sick form of comedy. My thoughts are if not a Mio reappearance than maybe a Nagi redemption moment in the final chapter that isn't some bait, because what a waste of a glow-up.
