And if you read between lines, it's a depressing ending. MC is only kept alive by the kouhai amd her friend, but one momemt of negligence from them and he'll khs of he reads that letter or picks the unknown call.

It's up there with CSM and Oyasumi Pun Pun regarding the double entendre.

The ending isn't trash, but it has the typical double entendre for more mature or perceptive readers


For the author (and at least me), Pun Pun being chained to Sachi and coming out alive after Aiko died wasn't a happy end, but the worst one Pun Pun could've had. Basically karma.

Got the same sentiment about CSM's end. Denji was chained to a devil once agaim, bit onstead of being Makima, Pochita or Yoru, it had to be Power of all people and both chain their preys not because of affection, compassion or love, but due to self indulgence (Sachi, to feel better about herself, Power because Nayuta stole her Meowy), and neither Pun Pun nor Denji,have motivations to justify their lives, they just go with the flow this time, instead of actively pursuing a selfish and self destructive goal
