It might be a bit frustrating because the MC is quite childish and lacks tact in romance.

Not only childish and tactless, but hid actions make him look like someone spiteful and passively manipulative. He has a tendency to get into relationships to take back at people who hurt him.

Because, yeah, Hiromi made it official with Nonoka because he wanted to get back at Lili. When he went back from his trip to Wakayama and announced he was in a relationship, Lili didn't take it too well, despite of her being with Hodoka (her arts college classmate) at that moment.

Outside of the sharehouse absurdism, Hiromi getting dumped and NTR'd by Chika at the beginning was a realistic plot. She wanted higher heavens, i mean, socially climb (dumped Hiromi bc he didn't have a proper job and was kind of a simp), when she didn't get what she wanted, she rebounded back into him, but he ended telling her off and used Lili to get back at Chika.

I am not above Sasuga using Chika again to make Hiromi face responsobility for his actions. I mean, before he told her off, they had a remember sex session, so her coming back with a pregnancy can be possible.

I can’t stand Hiromi's brand of 'kindness'—it’s completely irresponsible and totally tone-deaf.

His kindness also hides some pettiness.

The girls are all now facing their ghosts, maybe the last one who,will be forced to face his demons will be Hiromi, and knowing this type of stories, all the main and branched paths will lead him back to Lili and Chika (or one of them), whether he likes it or not.

This article came out at a very weird timing making you think it's talking about post 129 timeline, but it is likely talking about the pre 129 is my take after reading this TL a few times over.

If that's the case there's not a whole lot to takeaway from the article unless someone has hyper analyzed it and discovered something else. It bears no indicator on the coming ending. Still though, 14 chapters since Shinobu and Sakura have talked so for some that hope and cope will keep building until the end.

Re-read the article, at a cursory glance it seems to only cover up to the moment in 129 right before Sakura is taken, but since it mentions the countdown to the end, it's actually also aware of what happens after, up to 134.
