Re-read the article, at a cursory glance it seems to only cover up to the moment in 129 right before Sakura is taken, but since it mentions the countdown to the end, it's actually also aware of what happens after, up to 134.

Relatable, I'm really hoping that isn't their last interaction lmfao.
This article came out at a very weird timing making you think it's talking about post 129 timeline, but it is likely talking about the pre 129 is my take after reading this TL a few times over.

If that's the case there's not a whole lot to takeaway from the article unless someone has hyper analyzed it and discovered something else. It bears no indicator on the coming ending. Still though, 14 chapters since Shinobu and Sakura have talked so for some that hope and cope will keep building until the end.
Sorry for being late. I've been informed by that Kodansha-fan friend about the weird article from Airi Katsura (sensei) so I went to read it till the end then come here to see what you guys are saying.

IT'S TOO LATE FOR HER TO SPEAK ANYTHING BECAUSE PEOPLE WON'T LISTEN. THEY WANT TO SEE WHAT SHE'LL DO.

IMHO, It clearly demonstrates an attempt to salvage for Volume 14 sale. But once again, AK (sensei) botched it. The article was only a story review designed to find excuses and claim she hadn't done anything wrong.

It’s just an excuse that since she let
Sakura survive for so long, it shouldn't matter if she doesn't make it this time in chapter 129. Also, she completely glosses over several scenes such as the "Mio's sex party" and the "reality show on the island."

A critical oversight in her article that could actually expose her to a conflict or even a lawsuit is her claim that Grapara falls under the "NTR genre." In reality, MagaPoke lists it only as "love comedy" and "drama." The mention of NTR in the promotional material cannot be cited as the "main plot."

In the opposite, this article serves as evidence that she intentionally lured rom-com readers into reading an NTR story from the very start since the promotional material explicitly billed it as an "NTR Love Comedy" rather than only an "NTR." If this were to become a legal matter, this article would land her in trouble.

She should keep quiet rather than writing this article though it is understandable that she was under pressure from
Kodansha for the sales for Volume 14 that no one prefers it except her NTR fans from Karami Zakari.

Because, ultimately, she shows no remorse. Even though it is typical for the mentally ill persons not to perceive themselves as being in the wrong such as even they killed people they believe they did no wrong!

Below is just my opinion and premonition and I didn't say it to please @diphuc1 . LOL

The fact that she wrote this article suggests she was under immense pressure to deliver a satisfying conclusion. And it may be the return of Sakura to Shinobu that Kodansha forced her to do.

Her decision to pause to say about the cucboy's penetration in chapter 129 implies the pressure she received to revise the "Sakura's survival" to better align with the rest of the story. Why did she mentioned of Sakura thinking of Shinobu right before being inserted? Why did she stop the article at this scene? Did she know this scene is the root of all problems?

This aligns with a fan's comment suggesting that chapter 129 in Volume 14 will feature 2 versions: the original will be designated as chapter 129.5 while the revised version where Sakura survives will serve as the official chapter 129 to solve all problems after the problematic scene.

This time I wish I'm right that there will be 2 versions of chapter 129 and it ends with ShiKura because it's good for everyone including AK (sensei) herself.

If she revised the chapter 129, she can still work on the next manga. People will forgive her and give her a second chance. And I do hope she'll find some time to see a doctor after everything has been resolved.

All this reminds me of a manga I had on my backlog some years back. It was about a guy who had a crush that ended up getting engaged. However every attempt to move on was thwarted by said crush as she liked to hang around him a lot, possibly ruining any chances of scoring a date with another girl. Anyone familiar with it? Can't remember the name.

I completely agree with everything you said, very good explanation 👍 Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to change anything about chapter 129; for Katsura, that chapter is her masterpiece. She's truly an author with stupid and overrated writing, that's what she is. Her mindset is pure NTR; she thinks she's writing a masterpiece.

To be honest, I think it's impossible for chapter 129 to change. If she changes it, she would basically have to change the entire volume 14. At most, she could do a "what if" scenario where Sakura rejects the fuckboi, but it would still not change the original story.

It's curious that the article refers to chapter 129, when they were going to penetrate Sakura, but doesn't mention anything about what happens afterward. Don't give me false hope that the NTR happens in 129.5 and they'll release a new canon chapter 129. I don't really know if Katsura wrote or supervised the writing of that article.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, glad this caught you and your friend's attention! You've been missed and we're getting closer to the end. Though this article for me doesn't really push the ball in favor of any particular ending, but it was interesting review of the story until now'ish minus a few key events.
It's curious that the article refers to chapter 129, when they were going to penetrate Sakura, but doesn't mention anything about what happens afterward. The only hint of any awareness of the aftermath chapters is when the article mentions the countdown to the conclusion which only came around in 134.

Well fuck me that was genuinely a sad moment in a manga ( Hontou wa Watashi ga Ii ndesho?) that's how you do it Arir! Welp I'm depressed now granted she really likes the mc what an asshole! At least the girlfriend has a guy who is gunning for her. I hope she gets happiness. Mc is a foolish scumbag.
I'm not a fan of ntr, but I hope the girlfriend cheats on him with the other guy.
Please be reminded Hontou wa Watashi ga Ii ndesho was tagged as "romance" and "drama" so the author can go with the NTR plot . And from its name, it's an NTR story from the start.

But Grapara was tagged as "love comedy" and "drama" If it's tagged as ONLY "drama", Airi Katsura (sensei) can do the NTR without argument.

She can't claim the "NTR Love Comedy" in the promotional materials as her main plot because it's an advertisement that you can add anything to gather people's interest. Also, it's written "NTR Love Comedy", not "NTR Tragedy".

The core and the real concern is what are the tag or genre on its official web site, not on advertisements that can be posted anywhere.

In conclusion, Grapara is a fraud while Hontou wa Watashi ga Ii ndesho is not. Sad but true.
