so like a loose half scorching with the solo Shinobu angle, the other half is if fucboiXSakura end the story successful, happy, and together.

My only issue with this is that it doesn't strike me as the "profound story depth" that Airi wants to reach for, this is just the lame tragic ending for Shinobu while Sakura gets off scott free.

Maybe not so black and white but rather how NTR can be used as a tool in order to add a "profound depth" to the story, mixing some of Airi's words/answers (translated).

I'm a bit lazy right now to go back and re-read it, I just roughly skimmed through it. That's also why Airi made that comment on how she hopes her readers can "develop an immunity to NTR" so that they can appreciate the story instead of being distracted by the usual negative emotions associated with it. In the end though maybe I'm interpreting Airi's answer too positively, but just my two cents on it.

Hard to say, some creators are wired different upstairs which can be both good and bad. Personally I don't think she really expected a real positive reception from everyone, maybe the NTR bros and her more loyal fanbase, and the only real mistake she made was doing her social media stunts which drew more outrage and attention.

I agree with you in that Airi definitely failed if she was trying to desensitize readers towards NTR because the execution near the end was still a little bit rushed even with a 20+ chapter setup, and it was still riddled with plot holes (like how does Shinobu not catch up to a Sakura running in a skirt...)

I know we're missing the last piece, ch 136, but all the signs point to a trainwreck.
I would be pleasantly surprised if that weren't the case.
