Mine will be rather different because most of the story will seem rather pointless to me on the plus side I have the full season of corpse princess coming tomorrow and a model viper zero arriving Friday so if the ending goes really sideways I have something to take my mind off of it!

Just making a joke, I'm still clinging onto my ShiKura cope until the end, but even with the cliffhanger, unpredictable (or maybe predictable) things can still happen.

My only floating ideas is either the Fumi crashout here makes some noise and Sakura catches wind of it, or she sees the first movie Shinobu did and comes to her own realization....

See Arir has introduced uncertainty in both sakura's and shinobu's relationship with their new partners as well as never showing us entier of them affirming there love for thier partners so that would mean we are ethire completing the netorare or breaking them apart from their new partners. There would only be one reason at this point for Arir to do that. Thing is it can go ethire way we will know real soon witch way things go in the past chapter though.

At least there is a path doesn't mean we will get there fumi is the most likely candidate for shionbu to end with. But shionbu will have to make a choice when it comes to fumi. As well as about his lingering feelings for Sakura.

On top the incoming drama(?) maybe we get another final twist. Whether he chooses Fumi or not I still think we can get one meet up for Shinobu and Sakura before the curtain falls. I guess it qualifies as a comedy of sorts where Shinobu ends up with the girl that Sakura thought he was cheating on her with, the black comedy is on point actually, maybe this is the profound depth of story that Airi-sensei was going for?

For me I feel extra strongly considering their last "interaction" will have been that breakup text from Sakura to Shinobu. Like I'm being overly sentimental about all this but I don't care how shit of a writer you are, this boderlines inexcusable levels of bad writing that isn't even mildly amusing and is just a piss poor attempt to make readers feel some emotions without properly substantiating it.

In other words it's ShiKura Time!

Simple a sakura X shinobu ending but fumi would be acceptable if bittersweet for me. I have invested almost three years worth of time following their romance for it to end here over something so stupid would feel like such a waste of my time.

But wasn't the point of this to see whether Shinobu could protect Sakura from the industry while building her up? Building the relationship was a byproduct but seeing as he already failed in that regard...

That's the hook in the synopsis but the story itself can go beyond that, and it's not necessarily wrong to. Shinobu failing doesn't mean there's no longer a point to the story.
