That guy didn't pay enough attention. Someone paying their men 10 taels of silver won't accept that much as compensation if you kill one. The men won't either. A new boss especially can't take a slap in the face lightly unless he's really outmatched.

All in all this gang leader failed to learn who he was dealing with.

mostly C, but B was part of it, and C's and B's reasons also contain A's reason.
..... The problem with these quizes is that they lack the true answers which tend to be [letter]: [letter] and [letter]/[letter], [letter] and [letter]
But on the otherhand that'd make them way too easy without a couple decoys of the same setup.

Carrot and the stick, he showed the carrot in the form of silver, then it was time to literally show the stick and punish them. That way they know its better for them to follow him than to betray/dissobey him.

@TheDerangedOne i dont remember it specifying to choose only one answer though so im going with a b c and d.
D, is a bit iffy, like u would think u shouldnt steal from your own bosses buisness, but it also depends on the boss, the previous boss may have been very lenient with it, "hey boys this is our business, take a piece of the pie whenever u want because 'we' are the eagles group." kinda thing but then again like i said its iffy.

@N7NobodyCats ..... Fucking hell words are failing me right now.
It's implied through the Context* of how the quiz is laid out rather than anything it actually says.
It's not explicitedly saying to only pick one, but at the same time it's reading like one of those: "Pick the answer that best fits the question" type of multiple choice tests.
It's how it is written rather than what it says that gives the implication of "choose only one" if that makes any sense.

*also here's a dictionary page for Context.... since I just double checked that I was using it right and I just spent the last while making more definitions for it apparently
