Would that fall under attempted murder? I know it's a manga and fits whatever narrative the author wants, but skipping school for months at a time just to come back like nothing happened is silly after all the times the other teachers have complained about their "image" when Onizuka is involved. I like it, but the absurdness of it all drives me crazy
