Oh God, they went and reminded me that they could have been showing us her living with her new adopted daughter instead of that damn flashback limbo.

If this was supposed to convince me to go see a novel, then the author FAILED.

Damn, this started somewhat interesting showing the world, the dangers and then giving us a glimpse of why the MC is a "cheat".

Then went the flashback arc showing how she became so, and... Honesty, I kinda expected it sooner or later, but it went completelly different from expected. She was OP, so the expected flashback would be to show both how she acquired such power and give us a hint of what would be the threat in the future that would challenge even her. Yer...
Even ignoring the lack of noticeable hooks for future plot, it was at the same time too long and too rushed - as in, it took a while but the solution just seemed to come out of nowhere, all at once.

This ending kinda kills it. It was all because she was literaly chosen to... well, the plot of SMT Nocturne if there was only one person there. And she chose the Freedom Ending a.k.a. keep the world as it is. Only without the fighting in the middle

o7, I enjoyed it for the most part, sad that the ending was rushed but the flashback wasn't.

So does the novel do a better job telling the story and we're just missing a lot? Also thanks for your hard work translating this

What trash. Thanks to the translators who had to go through this and seeing it to the end! Much praise is deserved.

Ok that ending came so abrupt and right after a flashback that came right after our MC getting a "daughter".
A few more chapters wouldn't have hurt.

This is a completely different story and ending than the novel. I don't know about the light novel (which was cut short), but the web novel is ongoing, and so far has none of this in it. It seems to be going a completely differen direction.

Yes, this is too rushed. Ai-chan doesn't remember reading this flashback. Stopped reading during the dragon arc, can't remember why, but not because it was bad.
