Large cast of unlikable characters are stuck in a building/island and are being killed off one by one. I'm willing to forgive a lot when it comes to Horror-Survival manga.
Elderly professional comes out of retirement for "one last job", and middle-aged or older MCs in general.
Manga full of different famous fictional/historical characters, accuracy optional. RED is okay as a manga, but president Grover Cleveland's tragic backstory from the New York slums was easily the highlight.
