Lol, I like some of the comments from recent chapters saying "Why do you guys even read this?" "This is such a bad manga" etc...

I'm pretty sure the majority of the people that are reading this, like me, enjoy it because it's just straight up ridiculous. I don't think an isekai manga that starts with the MC creating his own handgun within the first couple chapters is supposed to be taken seriously. Give me more girls in princess attire using an M80 machine gun with seemingly unlimited rounds taking out dragons any day of the week. Just like any other medium of entertainment; not every work has to be dead serious, or have a limit to how outrageous it is.

That being said, I don't know if the mangaka intended on creating such an in-depth storyline, because it detracts from the selling points referenced above lol.

The thing is, it’s hard to show passage of time in a “comic” format. Well, narration, but that can be tedious. I mean who tells themselves “it’s been six months, I guess I’m nearly done with this”?

Time passing is obvious, top it off with him being a gun fanatic. Remember, he worked crafting them too if memory serves from the web novel. As such he’s got a better base, and his ability with the memory metal is the only real question for quality...

But your right, I don’t expect a lot of seriousness from series like this.

It’s not like it’s “how he hero rebuilt the kingdom” or “the ideal sponger life”, muchless “in another world with a smartphone” especially when certain tech details have some sort of record accessible...

Well this guy could not be more obvious he is a bad guy could he... Honestly she should just order for his capture and imprisonment under the suspicion of treason. She is still nobility after all. But I will let this one slide since she is basically disliked by most higher nobility, so guards may not follow her command.

However, this guy just walks into the battle to just stand around and talk while immediately pointing blame towards someone besides himself. Even a 3 year old would know that now is not the time for that. Only someone guilty would try to push blame right off the bat before they look to help.

His argument is flawed logically too. He would rather believe that something is impossible after seeing potentially the exact outcome than accept that just because it had yet to happen, does not mean it cant happen. There is even a book about said thing happening.

Normally his strange behavior in a time of crisis could be overlooked by being emotionally overwhelmed, except he cant be considered that. Even if he didnt speak about their expulsion, simply his calm demenor towards the situation is suspicious. Almost as if he knew this would happen at this moment. He only is showing hostility towards the princess.

But in the end, what does it matter. Either this guy gets arrested, killed, banished, or everything he wants. Princess either gets people to come to her side and is accepted by other nobles, or just fucks off with MC and his harem. Or even both happen.

"Triggered". Was there really no better word than that? I doubt it.

@Ovdose

I really considered changing that, however nothing seemed to have the level of vaguely spoken overbearing insult for the semi innocent Elven Princess...

"Oh god, she's been triggered".

or,

Every time we release a chapter of Gun-Ota we TRIGGER a round of troll comments. ;)

Change Note: Last page correction, spelling for "Infinite Dragon"

Thank you for taking the time to explain why you decided to use that word. In that sense it is indeed a good choice. On the other hand though I still disagree with using it because it's a product of our modern culture so it seems very out of place in the fantasy world depicted in the manga.
