Hmm, it's really weird. He says he's an assassin but gets easily beaten up by a random thug plus assassins are always well-paid, so it's also weird that he's very poor unless he just has a weird quirk.
Edit: I guess he mentioned that he spends a lot of budgets on his side job, so I guess he always operates on a deficit when doing his gigolo job.

assassin doesn't mean front line door kicking spec ops kind of guy.
all it really means is that you kill people without being detected (and depending on the type, you could be detected after the fact).
you don't need special hand to hand combat training to squeeze a trigger or poison someone.

On the recent chapters both translated and raw. He fought with a cultivator and a tiger and fought really well.
The system hasn't provided any body strengthening enhancement and only provided guns, armor and grenades.
Thus, we can conclude MC can fight really well because his reflexes is superb however on Chapter 1 he can't even dodge a simple punch.
We can say that maybe... just maybe. He just really wants to stick to normal person mode when he's not assassin mode thus he got beaten up easily.

maybe he thought that it would end with a beating and be done with it.
also, since this manga is chinese, i doubt he would carry guns on him at all times.
plus the fact that, even with training, you can't beat the numerical advantage.
i don't know what he did to them that needed them to send trannies after him, but they lost all of my support.
