GFL story collab really bring a more hopeful ending for Henrietta. Triela happy at her death, Rico and Claes live on without anymore fighting / revenge and Jean finally show his appreciation. Angelica dead with her dog and Marco changed for the better.

Henrietta died without Jose's love. The collab give her / or whatever remain of her a new future.

GFL CEO Yuzhong is a cultured man. Both GFL and the collab is his love letter to the series, also made his fanfic official in some way.

I didn't know about the collab but I'm glad it brought more people to this series. Despite knowing how the story was going, I still cry every time I re-read it. Triela remains my favourite girl and as sad as it was, I'm glad she has a "happy" end (in this series' setting).

For people who cannot remember names this will slightly affect ur enjoyment of reading this manga. Overall ill say its good. The beggining is a bit slow but reaching towards the end the author ends things very nicely. I think this is a very balance manga where the characters were nicely fleshed out and ending wasnt rushed.

The first nine volumes are fantastic, the rest I didn't like as much, although it wasn't bad, I just found it inferior to the previous ones. The conclusions are good at least.

Ehh turned into a dumpster fire. Each girl was just a plot point for more heart strings to be strung. Cheap and easy drama points. The main villain was horrible, the whole revenge gets you no where is never ever perfectly done in manga or anime, the final battle was even worse, introducing people out of the blue, like jose sisters soccer friend being military and being on the scene with the main villain all last second reeked. Also the kid the villain picked up in Africa was literally pointless drama and to add onto more pointlessness the little self detonation thing was not dramatic at all bc of him being such a meek character the author threw in to somewhat make this main villain he chucked in a bit more fleshed out.

To harp back onto the plot of revenge and how it begets revenge, the whole story of there operation is prob the most f’ed up part. Taking girls that are dead (for the most part) and gone to their families and loved ones and making them war machines, is undoubtably worse than the enemy’s they faced in the story. A hired killer being the main villain more than halfway through the manga, how about talk more into detail as to how these guys just play with kids life’s for shadow warfare operations? Perhaps that’s why a main villain would have never stuck onto the reader.
It’s a good manga but very flawed, if they tackled how heinous this was more and maybe never gave a stupid main villain that had to add 10 different plot points with no value it would of been better.

The post ending chapter was absolutely bad in every way lol. Idk what the author was cooking with that lol. I mean for all the words people have against the romance. I thought it was pretty clear that hillshire and triela were perfectly fine not romantically and she said to protect and love Roberta, idk where the eggs and Surrogate motherhood thing came up out of.
They couldn’t come up with any of the gunslinger girls alive to have a somewhat happy ending why show us people we never seen b4 we do not care. What does speranza know about those 2? Idk giving the reader any cool story about the girls after would of sufficed.
